About The Position
Bestica is seeking Registered Nurse – Intensive Care Unit to provide services to Joint Base Fort Lewis-McChord, Tacoma, WA. One Year of Experience in Nursing Current unrestricted RN license in one of the 50 US States and/or territories. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Basic Life Support (BLS) US Citizen NACI background check Task and Responsibilities: Performs critical care duties, to include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating age-specific nursing care across all ages. Functions as a patient advocate. Assesses patient/ family knowledge level, develops, and implements a plan of instruction and documents demonstrated level of understanding. Manages care of patients for a wide range of procedures of an advanced nature and difficulty where there is a high risk for infection and bodily functions are mechanically assisted by life support equipment. Nurses who will assist in providing conscious sedation must have conscious sedation training provided at MAMC prior to providing conscious sedation. Requirements
