About The Position
Position: Registered Nurse – Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Specialty: ICU Shift: Night Shift – 3x12 Hours (19:00 – 07:30) Contract Duration: 26 Weeks Desired Location: Saratoga Springs, New York Scheduling & Work Requirements Floating: Required within skillset at manager’s discretion Charting System: EPIC experience required Patient Ratio: 1:2–3 Candidate should be available to work through the summer
Requirements
- Active New York State RN License (required)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
- Flu vaccine or approved exemption required
- Minimum 3 years of current ICU experience required
- Strong critical care skills and ability to manage high-acuity patients
- Must be proficient in cardiac rhythm interpretation
- Telemetry Requirement: Must pass a hospital-administered rhythm interpretation test
- Minimum 80% accuracy overall
- 100% accuracy in identifying critical rhythms
