About The Position
Position Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Inpatient Surgical Unit , part of a high-performing Med-Surg team at a state-of-the-art medical center. This role is ideal for nurses who excel in fast-paced, high-acuity environments and are committed to delivering safe, high-quality patient care.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of recent acute care RN experience (within the last 4 years)
- Active Florida RN license or RN Compact license
- Must obtain Florida licensure within 90 days of hire if compact
- BLS certification required upon hire
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a 45-bed inpatient surgical unit
- Perform thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Maintain continuity of care throughout the patient stay
- Manage a 7:1 nurse-to-patient ratio with efficiency and strong clinical judgment
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
