About The Position

Join the Inpatient Surgical Unit at a state-of-the-art medical center in Gainesville, FL. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated nurse to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The unit is part of the Med-Surg team and requires professionals skilled in managing patient care across a variety of surgical cases.

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of recent (within the last 4 years) acute care RN experience.
Current Florida RN license or an RN Compact license with the ability to obtain FL licensure within 90 days of hire.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional nursing care to patients in a 45-bed inpatient surgical unit.
Perform comprehensive patient assessments, develop care plans, and ensure continuity of care.
Manage a nurse-to-patient ratio of 7:1, demonstrating efficiency and clinical expertise.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
