Regions Hospital is looking to hire an exceptional, patient focused Registered Nurse to join our Inpatient Rehab Unit and make a difference for our patients and our community. Patients on our unit are in the rehabilitation stage of their illness and are admitted from general patient care areas, other hospitals or facilities and occasionally direct from the ICU. Our mission is to assist patients in becoming as independent as possible in all areas of daily living by providing a continuum of effective, efficient, and culturally sensitive rehabilitation services and care. Our rehabilitation nursing team cares for our adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients with limitations in physical or cognitive functioning. As part of a Level 1 Trauma Center, our team offers the highest level of care available to those dealing with a brain injury, stroke, spinal cord injury, burn, amputation, or traumatic injury. We are certified by the Commission for Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) for general rehabilitation, stroke specialty rehabilitation, traumatic brain injury Rehabilitation and spinal cord rehabilitation. We are known for saving lives in our Level I Trauma Center, and our nursing staff are key to the exceptional care we provide each patient. Our Professional Nursing Practice Model offers patient and family-centered care that maintains an unwavering focus on what matters most: caring and healing at the patient’s bedside. As a nursing professional you will be empowered to manage your clinical practice and working environment through our Shared Governance Model, which focuses on evidence-based nursing practice. Regions Hospital supports nurses with an individualized orientation including Transition to Regions Hospital Practice program which is a nurse residency structured program to support learning, role transition, and retention of nurses. All new hire registered nurses at Regions Hospital will be automatically enrolled. Our award-winning programs give our patients and their families a place of comfort and healing. We are proud of the care we give each and every patient. Work Schedule: 0.70 Nights. All 8 hour shifts. Every other weekend rotation.
