About The Position

This position performs patient assessment and follows established standards and practices for nursing care. May delegate responsibilities and provide clinical oversight to other unlicensed nursing staff. May be required to work in other areas according to skill of staff and acuity of patients. Provides exceptional service to all patients and customers. This position works under the supervision of the Director or Practice Manager and under the direction of the provider and is employed by Mosaic Life Care.

Requirements

• Graduate of a school of nursing required, as well as BSN preferred.
• RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure And/Or Compact State Licensure in State of Missouri or Kansas, depending upon designated work location. Non Clinical\AZDL - Driver License - Valid And In State if operating a motor vehicle for business purposes. BCLS - Basic Life Support is required within 902 days of hire.
• Nursing experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Greets and prepares patient for provider examination and treatment. Performs general nursing care to patients.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards.
• Assists provider with procedures and properly maintains equipment before and after procedures.
• Review medical charts for completeness. Documents all medications, refills, telephone conversations and patient visits in the medical record.
• Completes assessment/reassessment of patient and documents in medical record.
• Other duties as assigned
