About The Position

The Associate must be knowledgeable in professional nursing principles and practices related to infusion therapy. Demonstrates appropriate judgment to make independent clinical decisions in carrying out the infusion therapy for CH infusion pharmacy services. Seeks guidance from Clinical Manager when needed. Demonstrates ability to be depended upon as scheduled for work meetings, on call and/or in-services as requested.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing, college or university, BSN preferred
• Licensure and current registration as a Registered Professional Nurse in the State of New York
• Current BLS certification within 60 days from date of hire
• PICC Certification preferred
• CRNI within five (5) years preferred
• One (1) year experience performing venipuncture
• One (1) year experience with central catheters and PICC lines
• Most possess a valid driver's license and have a car available for work use
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to prioritize
• Strong assessment skills required
• Ability to multi task
• Good computer skills
