About The Position

M– F 8a to 4:30p 2-3 weekend shifts a year and 1 major holiday every 2 years required May be asked to float to other locations: Overland Park, North, Lee's Summit We will provide assistance to become Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy Certified within 90 days of your employment. The Opportunity Saint Luke’s Hospital of Kansas City is hiring for an Infusion Registered Nurse for their Outpatient Oncology and Hematology Infusion Center. This position is part of a rapidly growing program and will assist with research studies, provide patient and family education, and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary innovative care team committed to improving patient outcomes. We are looking for experienced nurses with Oncology background and strong IV skills. To be successful, you will need to be organized, team oriented, adaptable, and enjoy helping others. We are seeking compassionate nurses who possess strong relationship building skills and enjoy going above and beyond for their patients while keeping the whole patient in mind. This is a high volume fast-paced Magnet designated clinic. This clinic is INCP and QOPI Certified. Utilize the nursing process Coordinates care w/ Multidisciplinary Team Delegates tasks Formal or informal leadership within unit or department. Requirements

  • Applicable Experience: 1 year
  • Registered Nurse (KS) - National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NURSYS)
  • Registered Nurse (MO) - National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NURSYS)
  • Associate Degree - Nursing
