About The Position

BJC/Saint Luke’s Hospital of Kansas City is hiring for an Infusion Registered Nurse in their Hospital Outpatient Infusion Center. This position is part of a rapidly growing program and will assist with research studies, provide patient and family education, and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary innovative care team committed to improving patient outcomes. This is a high volume fast-paced Magnet designated clinic. This clinic is COC and QOPI Certified. We will provide assistance to become Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy Certified within 90 days of your employment and provide vouchers for renewal. HOURS: Monday – Friday 8 AM to 4:30 PM. This position will require 2-3 weekend shifts a year and 1 Holiday every 2 years. May be asked to float to other locations: Overland Park, North, Lees Summit Why Saint Luke’s? We are looking for experienced nurses with Oncology experience or strong IV skills. To be successful, you will need to be organized, team oriented, adaptable, and enjoy helping others. Requirements

  • Applicable Experience: 1 year
  • Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross
  • ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate - Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation
  • Registered Nurse - Various
  • Associate Degree - Nursing
