Requirements

• A Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing is required - BSN or ADN.
• BLS provider (accredited by the American Heart Association) required prior to hire.
• Current Registered Nurse License State of Illinois.
• 1-2 years of previous experience in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' health status, including vital signs, medical history, and current symptoms.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient assessments.
• Perform initial triage to prioritize patient care by evaluating the urgency of their conditions.
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare providers to coordinate care and manage patient treatments and follow-ups.
• Provide education to patients and their families about managing health conditions, medication administration, and lifestyle changes.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including charting care provided and managing appointment scheduling.
