About The Position

12-hour night shift RN position in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU). Adult acute inpatient setting with a 3:1 nurse-to-patient ratio. Travelers will be assigned to a resource float team and expected to float to appropriate units as needed. Every other weekend and holiday coverage required. No block scheduling. Orientation is 1–2 days. Start required within 2 weeks with active license on file at submission.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year PCU/telemetry experience required.
• Experience with insulin drips, cardiac drips, post-cardiac cath care, and IV starts required.
• Active NY RN license required at submission.
• AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required (NIHSS prior to start).
• Recent Epic experience (within 2 years) required.
• All work history and employment gaps over 90 days must be explained.
• Reliable transportation required.
