About The Position

The Imaging RN provides nursing care specific to patients during Imaging procedures in Diagnostic Radiology, Interventional Radiology, Ultrasound, CT, MRI, Mammography and Nuclear Medicine areas at both the St. Cloud Hospital and Imaging service areas at the CentraCare Health Plaza. Provides patient and family centered care through The Compass: St. Cloud Hospital’s Nursing Professional Practice Model to achieve the hospital mission of improving the health and quality of life that reflects the healing mission of Jesus. Age appropriate care is provided to patients and families. Supports and implements patient safety and other safety practices as appropriate. Maintains professional competencies by attending educational programs, participates in professional organizations, subscribing to the reading professional journals or other appropriate activities. Shares unit responsibility for leadership, planning, implementing, and evaluating care.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program and current RN license in MN.
  • BSN or MSN preferred; BSN required within three years.
  • Must have critical care and sedation experience.
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card.
  • To be eligible for the hiring bonus you must be an external candidate who is hired into an eligible full time or part time benefited position.
  • Previous CentraCare/Carris employees qualify if they have not worked for CentraCare for at least 9 months at the date of hire.

Nice To Haves

  • Procedural nursing, clinic, Outpatient/IV Therapy nursing experience preferred.
