Job Summary: We are seeking a Diagnostic Imaging RN to join our team. Your primary function is to care for patients preparing for imaging and diagnostic procedures. You will work with a phenomenal team that cares like family and works together in a collaborative manner. HCA Florida Gulf Coast Hospital is a 238-bed acute care hospital. For 40 years, we have served Bay County and the surrounding communities. We are an accredited facility offering comprehensive care. This includes advanced cardiac assessment and treatment. We offer certified womens services. Our hospital has dedicated spaces for adult and pediatric emergency services. We are certified in Advanced Primary Stroke Care. Our hospital is accredited as a Comprehensive Breast Care Center. We are the areas only Accredited Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI and Resuscitation. Other services that we offer include orthopedic care and joint replacement, robotic surgery, cardiac, vascular, and interventional services. We are home to the only Pediatric ER in the community. Requirements

Associates Degree in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing required
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
Florida RN license and/or approved multistate RN license required. Compact license holders have 60 days to obtain the Florida license after relocation.
BLS-AHA Provider issued card required within 30 days of start
ACLS-American Heart Association ACLS Provider issued card required
1 year acute care experience required
1 year critical care experience preferred

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
1 year critical care experience preferred

Responsibilities

Administer moderate sedation for CT guided biopsies, drains, etc
Operate Cardiac CTA- administer Nitroglycerin and Metoprolol
Administer Glucagon to CT enterography
Administer Lasix
Place Foley Catheters
Access Port-a-Cath and de-access with Heparin per protocol
Start IV in difficult sticks
Monitor outpatients who have pacemaker or defibrillator
