Summary of Essential Duties: Provides direct and indirect care services, including, but not limited to, the administration of medications and therapeutic agents necessary to implement treatment, disease prevention, or rehabilitative plan of care Delivers direct care to assigned patients in an ambulatory setting Prepares patients and assists providers during outpatient procedures Identifies and assesses patient safety concerns with respect to age and developmental considerations Provides care to special patient populations and patients with diverse cultural backgrounds

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program required
  • Current, unrestricted California RN license required
  • ACLS from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required
  • A minimum of 3 year of acute care nursing experience required

Nice To Haves

  • BSN preferred
  • critical care experience highly desired
  • Procedural experience preferred

Responsibilities
