Registered Nurse II - PRN
About The Position

We are seeking a PRN Registered Nurse (RN) II to join our team at our program in Russellton, PA. As a member of the nursing team, the RN will enrich lives through maintaining continuity of care by providing direct interaction with program residents. They will provide quality, recovery focused, and holistic care to the individuals in the program. The RN ensures the physical health needs of those in the program are met, including assessing, and evaluating health concerns, physical health assessments, charting, dispensing medication, and providing health education. The RN works closely with the program Psychiatrist.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited program and possess a valid PA Registered Nurse OR Licensed Practical Nurse licensure.
- 1 year of psychiatric mental health paid or unpaid experience required.
- Knowledge and understanding of severe mental illness, recovery principles, and recovery driven service system required.
- Valid Driver’s License required.
- All Clearances required by OMHSAS regulations.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining continuity of care by providing direct interaction with program residents
- Provide quality, recovery focused, and holistic care to the individuals in the program
- Assessing, and evaluating health concerns
- Physical health assessments
- Charting
- Dispensing medication
- Providing health education
- Works closely with the program Psychiatrist
