About The Position
The Oncology RN, under general supervision and within the scope of practice for a registered nurse in California, provides specialized nursing care to patients receiving cancer treatment in an outpatient setting. This role works closely with the attending oncologist to coordinate patient care, deliver education, administer treatments, and support patients and families throughout the cancer care continuum. The nurse ensures safe clinical practice, maintains high standards of communication, and contributes to efficient clinic operations.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- RN-Registered Nurse of California
- BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
- ONS-Oncology Nurse Society
- OCN-Certified Oncology RN within 3 years of hire
- Infusion, Oncology experience
