About The Position

The position is responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care throughout the pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative phases. The nurse will assist physicians during surgeries and procedures, develop and manage interdisciplinary care plans, and maintain effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare providers. Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license in California.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
• 2 years of recent relevant nursing experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of nursing theories, medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
• Working knowledge of healthcare industry safety policies and patient care best practices.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Electronic Health Records.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently or as part of a team.
• Skills in problem identification, evaluation, and resolution.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, treat, and evaluate nursing care during pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative phases.
• Assist the physician during surgeries and procedures in a circulating role.
• Develop and implement interdisciplinary plans of care considering various patient factors.
• Maintain collaborative relationships with patients, families, and healthcare providers through effective communication.
• Adhere to policies, industry standards, and regulations to promote quality patient experiences.
• Engage in continuous professional development in nursing practice.
