Requirements

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least 1-2 years of RN experience required, preferably in clinic-based Primary Care/Family Medicine or Sports Medicine.
• RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure or Compact State Licensure.
• BLS - Basic Life Support certification.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in an ambulatory care environment preferred.
• Basic Windows skills including keyboarding and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Provide appropriate care to patients and their families in a compassionate manner.
• Assist the patients' care team in implementing the medical plan of care.
• Perform routine and specialized clinical procedures, including conscious sedation, within the RN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and vaccines safely and accurately.
• Manage incoming triage phone calls and appointment requests.
• Document patient information clearly and accurately in the electronic medical record (EPIC).
• Maintain exam rooms and nurses' stations, ensuring compliance with infection control policies.
• Participate in organizational projects and adhere to safety and compliance policies.
