About The Position

The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) specializes in Medical-Surgical and Neuroscience critical care. The ICU nurse is responsible for delivering high-quality, compassionate patient care in critical situations, as well as collaborating with healthcare teams, administering treatments, and staying up-to-date on evidence-based practice. New Pay Rates: $39.00- $50.00 /hour (based on experience).

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited associate degree program
• A Graduate Nurse (GN) must complete NCLEX within 120 days of employment.
• Current New York State licensure as a Registered Nurse
• Basic Life Support (BLS)

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing from accredited nursing program or higher degree
• Bachelor's degree required within 8 years of being hired or those licensed after 2017.
• Certification in a specialty area
• Critical Care Nursing
• ACLS required within 1 year
