About The Position

Are you an experienced ICU Registered Nurse looking to work in a high-acuity, supportive and progressive environment? We are seeking motivated and clinically confident Registered Nurses to join our dynamic Intensive Care Unit team, delivering exceptional care to critically ill patients. Our state of art ICU currently has 9 licenced beds with plans to expand. As an ICU Registered Nurse, you will: Provide advanced nursing care to critically ill and ventilated patients Manage complex clinical situations with sound judgement and autonomy Monitor and respond to rapidly changing patient conditions Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary critical care team Support families through compassionate communication and education Maintain high standards of documentation and patient safety To succeed in this role, you will bring: Current registration as a Registered Nurse (AHPRA) Recent experience in an Intensive Care Unit Advanced assessment and critical thinking skills Experience with ventilators, inotropes and invasive monitoring (highly regarded) Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment Commitment to patient-centred, evidence-based care Postgraduate qualifications in Critical Care Nursing are highly regarded but not essential. Requirements

  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse (AHPRA)
  • Recent experience in an Intensive Care Unit
  • Advanced assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Commitment to patient-centred, evidence-based care
  • Provide or complete a National Police Check (conducted within the last 12 months)
  • According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with ventilators, inotropes and invasive monitoring (highly regarded)
  • Postgraduate qualifications in Critical Care Nursing are highly regarded but not essential.
