About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) position in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Jefferson Memorial Hospital is a part-time role focused on providing compassionate care to patients with a variety of illnesses. Requirements

• Unrestricted TN or Compact Nursing License
• American Heart BLS & ACLS certification
• Graduated from an accredited US Nursing school
• Associate's Degree in Nursing

Responsibilities

• Evaluate assigned patients and plan, implement, and document nursing care.
• Assist physicians during examinations and procedures.
• Perform various patient tests and administer medications within the scope of practice.
• Promote patients' independence by establishing care goals and teaching self-care skills.
• Utilize experience and judgment to plan and accomplish patient care goals.
