Requirements

• Associate's of Nursing
• Registered Nurse (RN)
• Basic Life Support Cert (BLS) from the AHA
• A minimum of 1 year of recent ICU experience

Responsibilities

• Responsible for promoting and restoring patients' health by completing the nursing process.
• Collaborates with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to provide comprehensive care.
• Offers physical and psychological support to patients and families.
• May supervise assigned team members to ensure quality care.
• Provides care consistent with the policies, procedures, and standards of the facility and relevant state nursing practice regulations.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors of patients.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care, regularly evaluating and revising these plans as necessary.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely, following physician orders and hospital protocols, and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies to promote understanding and compliance.
