About The Position
The Registered Nurse (RN) will be a valued teammate of a 44-bed medical-surgical unit, also known as Internal Medicine. We are committed to delivering exceptional care to adult patients with a wide range of medical diagnosis and conditions. In this role, the RN will work closely with the nursing care team complied of a healthcare technician and exercise physiologist to provide patient-centered care. They will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate comprehensive care plans, facilitate clear communication, and promote optimal recovery and patient well-being. The Internal Medicine unit provides a great learning environment for nurses with all experience levels and interests. Atrium Health Cabarrus is a 457-bed tertiary care facility serving Cabarrus, Mecklenburg, and surrounding counties. As a designated Level III Trauma Center, we provide comprehensive emergency services and a wide range of specialty medical care. Requirements
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
Responsibilities
- As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
- Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
