About The Position

Atrium Health Cabarrus is seeking a Registered Nurse I (RN) to join our Cardiac Telemetry and Intermediate Care team. This position is full-time and will require working various shifts. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with healthcare teams, and ensuring the safety and comfort of patients in a telemetry and intermediate care setting.

Requirements

• Current RN license in the state of North Carolina.
• BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic health records.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in cardiac telemetry or intermediate care nursing.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to individuals in the cardiac telemetry and intermediate care units.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, including vital signs and cardiac rhythms.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and their families about health conditions and post-discharge care.
