About The Position
MUSC Rutledge Tower Outpatient Neurology Clinic provides care for a variety of Neurological Disorders, including Epilepsy, Memory Disorders, Movement Disorders, Neuromuscular, and Stroke. The clinical staff supports patient care by triaging and preparing patients for appointments, assisting with procedures such as skin biopsies and Botox injections, and coordinating patient care and treatment plans via telephone and messages. The team emphasizes collaborative work to meet patient healthcare needs and encourages staff to achieve their highest potential in all aspects of patient care.
Requirements
- Associate or Diploma degree in nursing
- Enrollment in an accredited BSN program within two years of the RN hire or reclassification date (for those with Associate or Diploma degrees)
- Successfully obtain a BSN degree within four years of the RN hire or reclassification date (for those with Associate or Diploma degrees)
- A minimum of one year of work experience as a registered nurse
- Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification
