Registered Nurse I Labor & Delivery
About The Position
As a Labor and Delivery Nurse at Saint Luke’s Hospital, you will work with a diverse patient population with various conditions, treatment plans, and acuity levels. You will work with both high risk and healthy patients and assist with Labor, C Sections, Recovery, Triage, and antepartum care of our obstetrical patients. Saint Luke’s Hospital is a Magnet Designated Academic Medical Center with a Level III NICU with various opportunities for career growth and development. Requirements
- Applicable Experience: Less than 1 year
- Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program - American Academy of Pediatrics
- Registered Nurse - Various
- Bachelor's Degree (Required)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) - American Academy of Pediatrics
- Registered Nurse (MO) - National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NURSYS)
- Associate Degree
Responsibilities
- Be accountable for utilizing the nursing process.
- Responsible for performing patient care, delegating patient care tasks and for supervision of other patient care staff.
- Responsible for coordinating the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- This clinical nurse demonstrates proficiency and abides by policies, rules, guidelines and procedures.
