Requirements

  • Colorado Registered Nursing License in good standing
  • Advanced training in geriatrics preferred
  • 1-year experience in a long-term care facility preferred
  • 1-year experience in a supervisory capacity preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak the English language
  • Excellent customer service skills

Responsibilities

  • Orchestrate top-notch resident care
  • Communicate effectively with nursing staff, physicians, pharmacists, and family members
  • Identify and address resident and family concerns
  • Attend Resident Care Conferences and maintain accurate Care Plans
  • Prepare, administer, and document medications
  • Recognize signs and symptoms and select appropriate treatments
  • Guide ancillary personnel and initiate corrective actions
  • Document patient care issues accurately and promptly
