About The Position

Saint Luke’s Hospital South is on the hunt for a compassionate, motivated Registered Nurse with experience to join our Med Surg Intermediate Float Pool. This position is full-time on the day shift and is benefits eligible, with a float pay incentive. The RN will be accountable for utilizing the nursing process, performing patient care, delegating patient care tasks, and supervising other patient care staff. The RN is responsible for coordinating the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This clinical nurse demonstrates proficiency and abides by policies, rules, guidelines, and procedures. Tier 1 will work at one entity.

Requirements

• 1 year of applicable experience.
• Basic Life Support certification from American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• Registered Nurse license.
• Associate Degree in nursing.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process in patient care.
