About The Position

Atrium Health Cabarrus is seeking a Registered Nurse I for the Post Surgical Care 3 unit, specializing in complex procedures. This full-time position requires working night shifts and involves providing high-quality nursing care to patients recovering from surgery. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring patient progress, administering medications, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The role also includes educating patients and their families about post-operative care and recovery processes.

Requirements

• Current RN license in North Carolina or compact state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a surgical or post-operative care setting.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to post-surgical patients.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions and vital signs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
