Requirements

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Licensure from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing OR current home state license if considered multi-state/Compact State.
  • Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experience required.

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years of nursing experience in ICU and ED
  • 36 hours a week | 12 hour shifts | 7 PM - 7 AM | Every other weekend and holiday

Responsibilities

  • Supervise unit operations and staffing, providing leadership to ensure clinical objectives are met and high-quality, population-appropriate patient care is delivered.
  • Assign, direct, educate, and monitor nursing and support staff during shifts to maintain safe, efficient workflow.
  • Assess daily patient care needs, develop assignments, and evaluate care effectiveness to support positive patient outcomes.
  • Address and manage patient care concerns or complaints through established processes to ensure resolution and quality improvement.
  • Contribute to staff hiring, training, development, and performance evaluations to support team growth and accountability.
