Registered Nurse - Hospital - ICU
About The Position
The Registered Nurse Hospital Critical Care collaborates with the care team to provide coordination of the patient care plan and the patient care team. The individual will work with the patient, family, significant other and the interdisciplinary team members to develop and individualized plan for care which includes educational and discharge planning interventions. The Registered Nurse Hospital Critical Care and the interdisciplinary team members will evaluate the plan of care and will address unmet outcomes to determine further intervention or consultation(s) as necessary.
Requirements
- Diploma or associate or bachelor’s degree in nursing.
- Graduated from an accredited nursing school.
- Will need to have passed nursing boards prior to start date.
- Current State of Wisconsin Registered Nurse license or Nurse Compact License.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications awarded by the American Heart Association within three months of hire.
Nice To Haves
- Experience as a registered nurse in an acute care setting.
- Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) & Surgical Intensive Care Unity (SICU): One year of experience as a registered nurse in an intensive care unit.
- Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) awarded by Emergency Nurses Association.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications awarded by the American Heart Association at time of hire.
