Registered Nurse | Hospice
About The Position
Find your purpose with CentraCare by joining our Hospice team as a Registered Nurse! You will make a difference in the lives of others by caring for patients and their families in the comfort of wherever they call home. Responsibilities include admitting patients to hospice and providing ongoing care for them and their families throughout their hospice journey, medication reviews, seeking orders from physicians, and providing education to caregivers about how to provide end of life care for their loved ones. Some other routine nursing tasks include head to toe assessments, pain assessments, wound care and catheter care. We provide an extensive orientation program as well as ongoing RN office support to you while visiting patients. This position serves in the cities of Annandale, Clearwater, Clear Lake and surrounding areas up to and including South St. Cloud and assisting other adjacent territories if/when personal caseload is low. Schedule Full-time | 72 hours every two weeks Monday - Friday | 8:00 am – 5:00 pm Every 8th weekend | Rotating holidays | Backup on call rotation Pay and Benefits Pay based on experience and degree Associate/Diploma in nursing starting at $38.21 per hour Bachelor’s in nursing starting at $39.16 per hour Master’s in nursing starting at $40.14 per hour Pay range: $38.21 - $57.31 per hour Milage reimbursement and extra pay for working weekend shifts $3,500 hiring bonus for eligible candidates Full-time benefits: Medical, dental, PTO, retirement, employee discounts and more! Qualifications Graduate from an accredited school of nursing Current Minnesota Registered Nurse license Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card Minimum of two years of experience in an acute care setting, at least one year of RN experience Reliable transportation Valid Minnesota driver’s license, a driving record in good standing, and insurance liability coverage To be eligible for the hiring bonus you must be an external candidate who has not worked for CentraCare for at least 9 months at the date of hire. Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
- Current Minnesota Registered Nurse license
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card
- Minimum of two years of experience in an acute care setting, at least one year of RN experience
- Reliable transportation
- Valid Minnesota driver’s license, a driving record in good standing, and insurance liability coverage
- To be eligible for the hiring bonus you must be an external candidate who has not worked for CentraCare for at least 9 months at the date of hire
