Concordia Home Health and Hospice of Bethlen is seeking an experienced dedicated and personable Hospice RN to join our team and provide compassionate care to patients and families during this significant time in their lives. Registered Nurses are needed for patient care in and around Ligonier, allowing you to work close to your home. Your patients, your schedule. QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE Hospice Nurse - Registered Nurse RN position: Graduate of state-approved school with course in pharmacology Reliable, independent means of transportation to make home visits. Drivers must have a valid driver’s license and drive a vehicle with insurance limits as established by the state. What you’ll do as a Hospice Registered Nurse: As a Hospice RN, a crucial role is delivering personalized care that focuses on comfort and quality of life. Responsibilities include: Assessing and managing patient needs: Continuously assess the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients, developing individualized care plans with the interdisciplinary team. Providing expert symptom management: Administer medications and treatments, focusing on pain management and symptom control to improve the patient's quality of life. Educating and supporting families: Be a trusted resource for families, providing education about the disease process, care options, and end-of-life decisions, while offering emotional support.
