Registered Nurses are needed for patient care in and around Ligonier, allowing you to work close to your home. Your patients, your schedule. QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE Hospice Nurse - Registered Nurse RN position: Graduate of state-approved school with course in pharmacology Reliable, independent means of transportation to make home visits. Drivers must have a valid driver’s license and drive a vehicle with insurance limits as established by the state. What you’ll do as a Hospice Registered Nurse: As a Hospice RN, a crucial role is delivering personalized care that focuses on comfort and quality of life. Responsibilities include: Assessing and managing patient needs: Continuously assess the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients, developing individualized care plans with the interdisciplinary team. Providing expert symptom management: Administer medications and treatments, focusing on pain management and symptom control to improve the patient's quality of life. Educating and supporting families: Be a trusted resource for families, providing education about the disease process, care options, and end-of-life decisions, while offering emotional support.
