Registered Nurse - Home Health Cleveland PRN
About The Position
This is a part-time, per diem Registered Nurse position within the Home Health Nursing department in Cleveland. The role is responsible for the complete nursing process, including collecting and analyzing data pertinent to the healthcare consumer's health to determine diagnoses or issues. The nurse will identify expected outcomes, develop and implement individualized care plans, coordinate care delivery, and employ strategies to promote health and a safe environment. A key aspect of the role is evaluating progress toward attainment of outcomes and delegating elements of care to appropriate healthcare workers in accordance with legal and policy parameters.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
- BLS required per policy guidelines.
- Current RN license or temporary license as a Registered Nurse Petitioner in the state in which you work and reside or; if declaring a National License Compact (NLC) state as your primary state of residency, meet the licensure requirements in your home state; or for Non-National License Compact states, current RN license or temporary license as a Registered Nurse Petitioner required in the state where the RN works.
- Additional education, training, certifications, or experience may be required within the department by the nurse leader.

Responsibilities
- Collects data pertinent to the healthcare consumer's health or the situation.
- Analyzes the assessment data to determine the diagnoses or issues.
- Identifies expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the healthcare consumer or the situation.
- Develops a plan that prescribes strategies and alternatives to attain expected outcomes.
- Implements the identified plan, coordinates care delivery, and employs strategies to promote health and a safe environment.
- Evaluates progress toward attainment of outcomes.
- Delegates elements of care to appropriate healthcare workers in accordance with any applicable legal or policy parameters or principles.
