About The Position

Under general supervision of the nursing supervisor, utilizes the knowledge and application of nursing principles to independently provide direct patient care in the home. Assesses need for other allied health care services such as home health aide services, physical therapy, occupational therapy, dietetics, speech-language pathology, and social work, to ensure an integrated home health care delivery system. Performs other related duties and projects as assigned. Over the IRS Mileage Reimbursement rate. Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited Registered Nurse program.
• Current licensure by the State of Michigan as a registered nurse.
• A minimum of nine months to one year clinical nursing experience preferred.
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and health care personnel.
• Knowledge of computer use for electronic documentation.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Current driver's license, satisfactory driving record, and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift, carry, transport, and move clients if needed.
