A Hematology-Oncology Clinic Registered Nurse is responsible for supporting patients from diagnosis through treatment, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary care team including physicians, advanced practice providers, nurse navigators, and social workers. The clinic RN provides disease-specific education across the cancer care continuum, coordinates chemotherapy and hospital admissions, and actively works to reduce barriers to care. They demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, promote patient autonomy, and play a vital role in ensuring safe, coordinated, and compassionate care.
