About The Position

The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) is one of the largest, most complex agencies in the state, and has approximately 17,000 employees. It is responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of all North Carolinians, providing human service needs for special populations including individuals who are deaf, blind, developmentally disabled, and mentally ill, and helping poor North Carolinians achieve economic independence. The primary focus of the position includes, but is not limited to, providing active programming, and ensuring safety of our patients, which is driven by individual patients' treatment plans. This a Registered Nurse position within the Hope and Wellness Center at Cherry Hospital. The position provides individual and group education to the geriatric, adult, and adolescent population of Cherry Hospital which assists in the implementation of the treatment plan.

Requirements

Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of North Carolina.
