Whether it's orthopedic, spine, thoracic, vascular, bariatric or general surgery patients, those with general medical illnesses, infections, or patients at end of life. About our Nurse Residency Program for new graduates: As a Nurse Resident, we want to do everything to set you up for success! You will be assigned to a Cohort and attend 6 months of monthly educational sessions with your cohort team members. This is led by our Nurse Residency Coordinator. The program is designed to ease your transition from a novice nurse to a competent nurse. Teaching methodologies include didactic learning, simulation and fun team activities applicable to nursing practice at Saratoga Hospital. This occurs while you are completing your 3-4 month unit orientation where you will be assigned a preceptor.
