Registered Nurse – GI & Pulmonary
About The Position
Heartline Staffing, strategic talent partners with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking a Registered Nurse to support a GI and Pulmonary care unit in a hospital setting. In this role, the RN provides comprehensive nursing care to patients with gastrointestinal and pulmonary conditions while delivering safe, compassionate, and patient-centered care. Nurses collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to assess patient needs, develop individualized plans of care, and ensure optimal outcomes across varying levels of acuity. This position offers opportunities across multiple shifts and supports both experienced and early-career nurses through structured orientation and competency validation.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing or approved program eligible for Virginia RN licensure
- Active Virginia RN license or eligible multistate compact RN license
- CPR required
- ACLS, PALS, and/or NRP as required by unit
- Ability to deliver age-specific nursing care
- Strong assessment, documentation, and critical thinking skills
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EPIC)
- Ability to meet orientation and competency requirements
