About The Position

HCA HealthONE Aurora is seeking a Registered Nurse GI PRN to join their team. This position supports the mission of optimizing the quality of life for all those served by expanding beyond traditional medical care to meet the needs of the whole person. The RN will be responsible for delivering nursing care to general medical/surgical populations, including special populations such as vascular, wound care, GI, and ophthalmology surgeries. The role involves overseeing and directing the care of LPNs and assistive personnel, maintaining final accountability for the care given to assigned patients. The RN will also perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor when necessary.

Requirements

• Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse or current active multistate Registered Nurse license.
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• ACLS certified or required within 6 months of hire.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• One-year experience in acute care preferred.

Responsibilities
