About The Position

Baystate Health, western Massachusetts's premier healthcare provider, and home to Baystate Medical Center (BMC), a Magnet Hospital for Nursing Excellence is looking for a Part time Days Registered Nurse to join our team on Daly 6A. Daly 6A- Acute Care for Elders, is a dedicated, growing team, with an engaged Manager, committed to the professional growth and development of her team, and dedicated to patient experience. Providing care for the older adult patient population with 39 beds, 16 semi-private rooms, and 5 rooms for end of life care. This unit offers participation in nurse driven change projects, great nursing ratios, and optimal support staff.

Requirements

• Successfully passed Board of Registration in Nursing Examination.
• Licensed in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
• Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider CPR certification required.
• Minimum 1 year RN experience required.
• AND required; BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for the older adult patient population in a 39-bed unit.
• Participate in nurse driven change projects.
• Maintain great nursing ratios and optimal support staff.
