Requirements

  • Valid and current Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in the state.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in nursing, preferably in home health care or private duty nursing.
  • Strong clinical skills including medication administration, wound care, and patient assessment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Ability to work independently with strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Compassionate, patient-focused attitude with a commitment to providing high-quality care.
  • Basic computer skills for documentation and communication purposes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in their homes including medication administration, wound care, and health monitoring.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient assessment and medical history.
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and family members to coordinate patient care and communicate progress.
  • Monitor patient condition and report any changes or concerns promptly to the appropriate healthcare providers.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with legal and company standards.
  • Educate patients and their families on disease management, rehabilitation exercises, and health maintenance.
  • Ensure adherence to infection control, safety protocols, and ethical standards throughout all care activities.
