Registered Nurse- Float
About The Position
Allen County Regional Hospital and Anderson County Hospital are seeking a Float Pool RN to support Med Surg, ED, and Long Term Care units. The Float Pool RN will function as both a bedside nurse and clinical resource nurse, demonstrating competency across all assigned areas. This role helps ensure staffing needs are met across both day and night shift. We're looking for a nurse with strong critical thinking skills, excellent interpersonal abilities, and a positive, professional attitude. This role is accountable for utilizing the nursing process, performing patient care, delegating patient care tasks, and supervising other patient care staff. The Float Pool RN is responsible for coordinating the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This clinical nurse demonstrates proficiency and abides by policies, rules, guidelines, and procedures.
Requirements
- Applicable Experience: Less than 1 year
- Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross
- Registered Nurse - Various
- Associate Degree
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Excellent interpersonal abilities
- Positive, professional attitude
