Registered Nurse Float Pool - Full Time - Nights (61822, 71743)
About The Position
Provides and coordinates direct care to pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients in to float to all acute care floors at Hamilton Medical enter including ICU and the Emergency Department for admitted holds the Progressive Care Unit utilizing the nursing process. Is responsible for appropriately managing care of assigned patients who present with illnesses and/or diseases whose needs fall between what must be delivered on most general medical floors. Demonstrates professional growth and development. Demonstrates a commitment to service, Hamilton’s mission, values, and professionalism.
Requirements
- Associate degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program. BSN or MSN preferred
- Current Georgia RN or a multi-state license meeting eNLC criteria professional licensure or will obtain prior to beginning work as a RN.
- BLS required
- ACLS/PALS preferred
- MOAB preferred
- One or more years of experience preferred
- Nursing skills as defined in the Law Governing the Practice of Nursing in Georgia. Additionally, proficient in special skills as demonstrated through completion of the Unit care skills check-off.
