The Registered RN is a professional caregiver, who as a member of a multidisciplinary healthcare team, assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame. They supervise and provide care to these patients utilizing the nursing process, including the therapeutic use of self.

Requirements

  • RN must have at least 2 years of acute care experience within the designated float district.
  • Graduate of NLN accredited School of Nursing.
  • Current NJ-RN License (Registered Nurse).
  • Current NJ-BLS Certification (Basic Life Support)
  • Critical Care: ACLS; BLS required
  • Med/Surg: ACLS; BLS
  • CRH: PALS, NRP; BLS

Nice To Haves

  • Balloon pump certification
  • CRRT
  • Critical Care Course preferred
  • Dysrhythmia certification
  • tele certified
  • preferred

Responsibilities

  • Follows established policies and procedures.
  • Communicates openly with internal customers and supervisors.
  • Provides excellent customer service, interfacing well with all levels of staff, management, and physicians.
