How you’ll make an impact in this role Provide comprehensive care to critically ill patients, continuously monitoring vital signs and hemodynamic status using advanced equipment such as ventilators, cardiac monitors, and infusion pumps. Administer high-risk medications, IV drips, and complex treatments while ensuring accurate dosing and close observation for adverse reactions. Perform detailed patient assessments, recognize subtle changes in condition, and respond rapidly to emergencies or life-threatening complications. Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care. Educate and support patients and families, explaining procedures, treatment plans, and prognosis during highly stressful situations.

Requirements

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Licensure from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing OR current home state license if considered multi-state/Compact State.
  • Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
