About The Position

The position is for a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department, responsible for assessing and addressing the physiological, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients. The nurse will develop and implement nursing care plans and ensure that care is delivered effectively through leadership and collaboration with subordinate personnel.

Requirements

• 2 years of related formal education/training beyond high school required.
• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Michigan.
• BCLS certification required.
• ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.

• 6 months to 1 year of job-related experience.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to nursing practice standards of McLaren Regional Medical Center using a systematic approach.
• Assess and document patient's status upon admission and continuously thereafter.
• Develop written plans of care, including long and short-range goals and nursing actions.
