The Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) reports to the Director of Surgical Services/RN Shift Manager/Operations Coordinator/Designee and is responsible for assisting the primary surgeon during the pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative phases of care. This role involves providing care to pediatric through geriatric patient populations and acting in the absence of a qualified physician.
