Registered Nurse- Family Medicine (Bilingual English/Spanish)

Position Summary: We are seeking a full-time Registered Nurse to join our Bella Vista Health Center (Family Health), in the Bronx, NY this coming Spring 2026! As an RN, you will provide comprehensive nursing support and patient care in our family medicine practice.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Associates Degree in Nursing is required.
- NYS Registered Professional Nurse, required.
- Ideally 2 years of established nursing experience is desired.
- Bilingual English and Spanish is REQUIRED
- Excellent communication skills, compassion, empathy, and team-driven attributes are essential.
- Knowledge/training in electronic health records and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to thrive in a family medicine environment and work well with team dynamics.
Responsibilities
- Triage patients and assists patients with their needs based on acuity.
- Provides quality nursing care and medication administration.
- Administers immunizations/vaccines to specified patients.
- Monitors patient reactions and side-effects.
- Assists care team with pre-visit planning for high-risk patients.
- Ensures implementation of plans of care.
- Behaves as a role-model and source of nursing guidance to medical assistants and phlebotomists that are part of the team.
- Assists with prepping patients as needed and providing patient education.
- Assists providers during examinations and treatments.
- Ensures proper sterilization procedures using germicides, sterilizers, or autoclave.
- Ensures departmental adherence to clinical policies and procedures.
- Maintains health records by documenting patient contact and updating patient profile.
- Implements standing orders.
- Checks equipment, logs, and medical kits.
- Assists with ordering medical supplies, medications, and vaccines.
