Hilltop Family Practice is located at 85 Main Street, Somersworth, NH 03878. As a Family Medicine office, we provide outstanding primary care and preventative health care to patients of all ages, from newborns to seniors. Are you ready to bring your talent to this team and join us in moving health care forward? We are seeking a full-time, 40-hour Registered Nurse to support the practice onsite. The schedule for this position will consist of 5, 8-hour shifts Monday through Friday 8:00am-4:30pm. This position is primarily a Triage RN role, responsible for phone triage while also providing clinical support by assisting with nurse visits and patient rooming as needed. The RN serves as the sole nurse on the team and collaborates closely with three Medical Assistants to support efficient clinic operations. Our clinical staff support two providers and an average visit volume of 35 patients per day in our practice. Teamwork is the foundation for successful day-to-day operations. Responsible for patient care and support within the outpatient setting through providing compassionate care, assisting in procedures, and collaborating effectively in a dynamic ambulatory care environment.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree Nursing required
  • Registered Nurse [RN - State License] required
  • Clinical nursing experience 0-1 year required
  • Proficient knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment.
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuing education and professional development.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs) and healthcare technologies.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred
  • Basic Life Support [BLS Certification] preferred
  • Ambulatory care or outpatient experience 1-2 years preferred
  • Primary Care RN Experience
  • EPIC Experience

Responsibilities

  • Deliver direct patient care and support, ensuring high nursing standards.
  • Conduct patient assessments, devise care plans, and assist in outpatient procedures with a focus on patient comfort and safety.
  • Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and post-procedure care.
  • Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
  • Administer medications, perform IV therapy, and maintain accurate patient records in compliance with regulations.
  • Uphold infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
